Web Conferencing: Finding a Service Provider that Meets Your Needs

With the vast amount of service providers that are available today, it's not always easy to find the one that best fills the bill for your particular web conferencing needs. Each one claims to be the biggest, best or least expensive, and all will try to convince you that their particular plan is the one that makes the most sense for your business. Sometimes you'll be the victim of a hard sell by those who are skilled in the art of diverting the attention away from your questions and, before you know it, the focus is on a set of features that you may have no use for at all.

In other cases, there are hidden fees that are peppered throughout the contract which you might not readily notice until you've fallen into the buy-in trap. How, then, are you supposed to find the best service provider to handle your web conferencing? Here are some handy tips that you should keep in mind when you go shopping for such services.

Multiple Location Participants ? If you have key people in distant lands that will need to come into the web conferencing loop, remember to keep this in mind when shopping for a web conferencing package. If a service provider attempts to impose strict limitations on this type of scenario, then this isn't the one for you.

Compare Prices ? Since most web conferencing providers utilize the same software or equipment from the same manufacturers, it stands to reason that the pricing structures should be similar. If one or more of them come in way above the mark, this should tell you something about the integrity of the company. In short, move on to another provider.

Review Pricing Plans ? Though many providers require to be paid on a rate-per-person schedule, there are those who will offer the same web conferencing services for a flat rate. This is ideal for companies with a number of participants. If you're given the option of paying a flat monthly fee for unlimited web conferences, so much the better.

Investigate the Features Being Offered ? Whether your needs include online presentations that don't need to be interactive, or interactive online meetings/webinars, the right service provider can meet those needs. Check to see what other features are offered, as well, before committing to making a decision.

Many companies, for instance, have the need for features such as multiple presenters, polling and surveys, desktop remote control, live video, online chat with questions and answers, documentation presentation, application sharing, record and playback features and browser sharing. Service providers who don't offer any of these commonly used features should be put aside in favor of those who are less technologically challenged.

The best approach to taken when shopping for a web conferencing service provider is to go armed with a list of relevant questions and a detailed description of which features are pertinent to your business. Keeping in mind that you may have to investigate a number of providers in order to find the one that best suits your needs, exercise patience and don't be too quick to jump on the web conferencing bandwagon by choosing one that's simply popular or has the catchiest advertisements. There are plenty of good providers out there ? it's just a matter of finding the one that has what you need, for the best possible price.

Enjoy The Journey, As There Isnt A Destination

Do you spend your time working towards that "one day when?."? One day, when I have enough money I will be happy. One day, when I have the house paid off, I will be able to relax and enjoy myself more. One day, when I get a better job???. These may all seem like good destinations and desires. But when we live in this way we are 'future living'. Waiting to live the life we have always wanted sometime in the future. Unfortunately the way our brains are wired can mean that we are as soon as we arrive at one destination it doesn't seem enough, somehow we are just not as satisfied as we thought we would be and we start going after the next goal.

Don't get me wrong - there is nothing wrong with setting goals and achieving them, but never think that any one goal, will be your ultimate destination, that will result in your ever lasting happiness and fulfilment. There will always be something more - something bigger, better, more powerful, faster etc. that we will desire.

It is not only the big things in life that we 'future live'. Most people spend their days getting things done so they can move on to the next thing. We always have destinations that we have to get to. (They may be physical places we are trying to get to or tasks that we want to achieve). Often, we are not doing the task at hand for its own sake, but for the end result, so we can move on to something else. When we live in this way everything becomes a chore to be done and gotten out of the way and the whole time we are usually thinking about the next chore on the list.

If we live in this way, one night we will wake up in a cold sweat wondering where our life has gone - why we feel so tired, alone and stressed. Was life really meant to be this hard? We ponder. What happened to all the dreams and plans and energy I had when I was a teenager and thought I could conquer the world and right all the wrongs? Somehow it all got lost under a thick blanket of obligation, survival, getting by and striving but never arriving.

So what can you do to bring some joy back into your life? Start enjoying the journey. No matter what you do, do it to the best of your ability with your focus on what you are doing. If you are walking from the house to the car don't hurry with you mind on something else. Slow down a bit, take a deep breath, look around you and see what is going on out in the world. We spend so much time lost in our heads we become unaware of what is going on around us.

To really start to enjoy your life now - no matter what you are doing, you need to learn to slow your racing mind down and become fully aware of the present moment. When you wash the dishes, do it for the joy of washing the dishes and not to get the kitchen clean. This may sound impossible and when you first try it, your mind will wander all over the place and tell you how boring doing the dishes is. But if you stick with it I promise you, you will find a sense of joy and freedom any like anything you have every known.

To be able to do this properly you need to get control of you mind. The best way to do this is with meditation. I cannot go into meditation practices in this short article but have written about meditation in both my books 'Seven Ancient Secrets for a Happy life - chakras' and '14 rules you must know to reduce your stress'. More information on these can be found at www.exaltedliving.com After you can meditate sitting still try to take the silence and stillness with you and into everything you do.

Do yourself a favour and dedicate today to enjoying the journey!

Are You Selling What They Want To Buy? Is It An Appropriate Solution?

Let me tell you about my friend Peter who has four children. With a family of six, he finds buying cars rather trying.

Recently he went by himself to buy a new car. Salespeople fawned all over him to show him the latest models; the run-out specials and to try to get his trade-in valued.

He just kept saying "No". Why? They were all trying to sell him five-seater cars. That's what I call an inappropriate solution.

Most times this comes about because as the salesperson, you simply haven't listened closely enough, or asked enough questions. You need to understand the buyer's motives - their 'hot buttons".

You do that by asking questions. Until you fully understand the buyer's motive, you can't ? and shouldn't ? recommend any solution.

When you do, the best way to phrase an appropriate solution is to use a sequence involving feature - function - benefit - consequence. Here's an example using a life policy...

"Buying this policy will give you $500,000 death cover on your partner, (feature) and we will pay it out to you and your children on your partner's death (function).

It will allow you pay out your outstanding debts (benefit) and will let you start the rest of your life without money worries (consequence of benefit)."

If my real motive for buying a car is that we have a child on the way and we have a two-seater sports car, my hot buttons are having a vehicle in time to bring the baby home from hospital, about safety and convenience.

Depending upon the stage of the pregnancy, I may only have a very short time to make a decision. You should know the reason and the timeline for the purchase, and so you must provide me with an appropriate solution, which is to get me into the vehicle before I need it to bring the baby home.

There's no point in you promoting an unsuitable product. It's unlikely that we're going to move from the two-seater to a people mover. Start by showing me a family vehicle; four doors, storage space etc. Talk to me about the airbags and side intrusion protection. I'm suddenly interested in all that stuff!

It's the same with housing. Don't show me a walk-up if I've got a baby in my arms. Don't put me near a busy, noisy school if I'm a shift worker.

I can hear you chuckling away here but this stuff's for real.

Please don't ignore it. A friend of mine was showing a woman some homes recently and had forgotten to ask if she had school-age children.

A simple mistake but he thought about it when showing her a very nice property, which was near a busy main road. It met all her stated criteria but she was hesitant. When he asked why, she said the proximity to the busy road was a concern for her daughter's safety.

My friend soon established the girl's age and went promptly to another property, which was also close to a school. It also met her criteria and she bought it on the spot.

Trade Show Tactics Revealed

Being part of a trade show gives small business a chance to experience economies of scale and to mix around with the big guys. This may also be the most stressful period for the PR Dept. head as he will hope that R & D people will be able to bring out the latest prototype of the company's new and "hot" product to a large audience. Top management may plan to use the trade show to increase profitability and market share.

Here are some tips:

The purpose of participation:

Before deciding whether you company should be part of this trade show, there must be a meeting of top management about the demographics of their target audience and the overall impact of the trade show. If the trade show is to launch a new product, then it should be obvious that all promotional literature and samples of the new product be ready. On the other hand, if participation in the trade show is just to create awareness and corporate visibility, then through prior research, ensure that the neighboring booths (your competitors) do not steal your "thunder".

Consider co-sharing your booth:

Co-sharing your booth with an alliance can be positive if there is synergy. It can also help lower the cost of booth rental and introduce your services to your alliance's customers.

However, the dangers of this approach is that one exhibitor may garner more exposure and publicity which may cause some dissent; there is also the issue of the signage and the "overall feel" of the booth that has to be agreed by both parties.

The Multimedia experience:

It is logical to prepare a multimedia experience for participants because there will be many booths shouting for attention. Trade shows are normally chaotic in nature. Thus make enquiries about the installation of large projector screens and platforms before committing yourself to the trade show.

Advertise with the trade show organizers:

The trade-show organizers will be promoting the event in the various media and your company should find out if you can tag onto this media blitz. A common method is to offer your company's new product as a prize for the event's grand contest.

Logistics Management:

Have you been to an exhibitor's booth and asked for brochures and be given the reply that they had run out of supply? Similarly, you discovered that the chart displayed at the booth and the information provided in the brochure was not the same. What was your impression of the credibility and level of professionalism of the organization?

It is essential that all information in the brochures and promotional materials be checked for accuracy and their supply sufficient for the entire event. Trade visitors will remember the organization by these items.

Train your sales staff well:

If you need to get temporary staff to help out, ensure that they are well drilled about the new product and the company's business philosophy. They must be forth-coming with their replies to enquiries from the public. They should not just wear the company's specially designed T-shirt and hand out flyers!

Feedback forms:

It is not realistic to expect "record sales" during the trade show. It is also important to create a rapport with the trade visitors by encouraging them to fill out feedback forms with their personal particulars. This will entitle them to a gift. The gifts must also be designed so that the organization will be remembered even after the trade show is over.

Networking:

Use this opportunity of being part of the trade show to network with other trade show participants. Set aside some time to interact with them and understand their business and services. You may form future alliances.

Build up the morale of your team:

Being part of a trade show can build up the morale and teamwork of your employees. Remember to rotate the duties of each member like handing out brochures or manning the booth. It is also important that they understand that the image that they convey to trade visitors during the event will go a long way in creating brand consciousness and corporate positioning.

Homework Help for the Attention Deficit Child

Does the homework battle so typical with your hyperactive or A.D.D. child have you at the end of your rope? Relax. We have some tried-and-try ADHD information that should get your A.D.D. child on the right homework path.

The hyperactive or A.D.D. child especially needs consistency, a work place free of distractions, solid encouragement and praise - along with established consequences if the positive homework tips fail.

Establish a Set Homework Routine:

Because the A.D.D. child functions best in a consistent environment, homework should be done in the same place, at the same time and for a set amount of time every day.

Work with your child to develop that routine. Some Attention Deficit and hyperactive children work best immediately after school while others need an hour or two to settle down before jumping back into studies.

To help the A.D.D. child better focus, the work area should be free of distractions, such as televisions, video games, music and other people. The kitchen table might not be the best place if there is too much activity in that room. The bedroom can offer distractions if the television or stereo have a way of "turning themselves on" when you are not there to monitor.

Mandatory Homework Time:

We are strong proponents of establishing an allotted amount of homework time on school days. This set amount of time gives consistency to the hyperactive or A.D.D. child and discourages rushing through homework.

Talk with your child's teachers about the average recommended homework time for the child's grade level. In general, elementary school children should spend about 30 minutes each night on homework. Middle school and high school students should spend about one hour on homework.

If the child does not have homework that evening or they finish before the allotted time, the child can read until their mandatory homework time is over.

"Chunking" and Scheduled Breaks:

The hyperactive and A.D.D. child often experiences difficulty with long-range tasks. "Chunking" homework for the hyperactive or A.D.D. child helps break the homework task into smaller, more manageable pieces.

You can break a 20-problem math assignment into four chunks of five problems each, with a small break in between chunks. If using the mandatory homework time schedule, set a kitchen timer to ring every five to 15 minutes, depending on the child's attention span. At every break, give your hyperactive or A.D.D. child a few minutes to move around or grab a snack to refocus their attention.

Rewards/Consequences:

As with any parenting issue, rewarding good behavior and disciplining poor behavior motivates kids toward good behavior. The A.D.D. child needs all the rewards they can get, along with firm and consistent consequences.

A "homework contract" is an effective motivator for the A.D.D. and an especially valuable tool to encourage the A.D.D. child to accept responsibility for their work.

The homework contract clearly states that when the homework is completed, the child will earn a reward. The contract also clearly outlines consequences for not completing homework.

You can offer daily modest rewards like earning time to play Gameboy, the right to choose a favorite dinner or a modest treat or special privilege. Or, you can develop a point system for larger weekly rewards. You can give out one point for every night of completed homework for the child to cash in for a trip to the zoo after earning five points, for instance.

Effective consequences for not completing homework are losing phone, computer, stereo and television privileges for the evening. To add a little more discomfort to the situation, have the child stay inside for the evening without friends.

It is important that you remain calm, firm and consistent on nights when Attention Deficit Disorder child decides to get into a power struggle over homework. It may take a couple consequence days before the child realizes that completing homework makes for a better night than not doing homework.

It is also important that you reward for effort and not just grades for the A.D.D. child. The goal is to develop a solid homework habit. With a homework habit established, better grades will automatically follow.

Don't forget to offer the intangible rewards of smiles and praise when your child puts the effort into completing his homework. A "way to go" goes a long way in positive reinforcement for Attention Deficit Disorder children.

Additional Homework ADHD Information:

  • Using an assignment book for the A.D.D. child helps parents keep track of the child's daily and weekly homework. If the teacher does not use an assignment book, develop a system with the teacher so you know the child's homework assignments.

  • If the A.D.D. child insist on heavy parental homework help, require that the child attempt problems at least twice before asking for homework help. They may need homework help, but make sure he puts a genuine effort into solving the problem first.

  • Attention Deficit and hyperactive children may not be able to receive "A"s on every homework and school assignment. Instead of getting hung up on the traditional grading scale, give you're A.D.D. child an "A" for effort.

Cell Phone Plans ? Choices Abound!

The Future Is Flexible

Gone are the days when the only way you could afford a cell phone was to buy into a lengthy cell phone plan. In those early days, a cell phone plan included a seemingly ironclad contract that lasted a minimum of three years. There simply were no choices. If you wanted a cell phone you had to buy the phone and commit to being tied to a contract; like it or lump it.

Thankfully those days are over and today because of the number of service providers, choices abound! Today's cell phone plans are designed with the consumer and their multitude of choices in mind. The wireless customer can choose an affordable cell phone with many choices and combinations of cell phone plans. That's the good news! There is bad news though, with the large volume of information available today, where does a person start to look and how do they decide what to choose?

Choices, Choices, Choices

That's the reason for this article. My goal is to help guide you through the myriad of choices that are available and to introduce you to the world of prepaid cell phones, family plans and shared plans for multiple cell phones. I'll be giving you some suggestions on how to match the best cell phone plan for you and your lifestyle. I'll also be giving you an idea where to find some ratings and reviews.

There are a few things to consider when making a decision. Once that's done you can look into the various reviews on what's currently available. Some internet sites provide ratings for the cell phone plans they advertise and are always striving to inform the customer about their newest offerings and hottest deals.

Decision Helpers

* Hardware & Software.
* What's Available?
* The prepaid cell phone ? Diamonds & Dust.
* Contracts ? Bundles of Bargains.
* Companies you can count on.
* What's your style?

Hardware And Software

The Hardware
When it all comes down to it, isn't it all about the phone? This is primarily one of the first of the decision making factors because it determines what kind of phone you'll get. This is especially true when you are looking at what can be a very expensive purchase.

Almost every cell phone company provides the most simple or the most complex cell phones with their prepaid cell phone packages. Companies such as Verizon, Cricket, and Nextel all offer easy consumer friendly "pay as you go" options.

If you chose a contract, there seems to be a formula but some companies have very enticing offers especially if you are changing service providers. The basic rule of thumb seems to be:

1. $50.00 price reduction for a one year contract.
2. $100.00 price reduction for a two year contract.
3. $150.00 price reduction for a three year contract.

As mentioned above some service providers offer up to a 75% discounted price for a top of the line cell phone in exchange for a three year contract. As a particularly good salesman told me "you can always get out of a contract these days, you just have to pay it out". Because the cell phones offered by most service providers are top of the line items from Motorola and Nokia and the contract is so consumer friendly it will be easy for you to stick with a contract for three years.

The Software
The service provider is the most important software factor when choosing between a prepaid cell phone and cell phone plan contract. This is an important issue because even the best phone is only as good as its signal.

Buyers beware however; some service providers' piggyback on top of more established lines. If it's a case of first come; first serve and your service provider piggybacks, you could be the first one off. This results in dropped calls and unreliable air space. Not a good outcome to your purchase. So do your research diligently.

What's Available?

Because it's all about the phone, ask yourself the following questions. What kind of phone do you want? Do you want one that is bare bones or one that has it all? Does the cell phone company or service provider offer a phone that comes with family or shared plans? If you chose a family plan, are both phones equally efficient? Do you want a cell phone that doubles as a palm pilot or camera?

All these questions will determine where you want to look when making your choice between a contract and a prepaid cell phone plan. There may be some features that you can live without. Knowing this upfront will help you determine what is best for you. There are numerous websites that provide ratings and reviews of what is currently available. Surf the web and research Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Nextel, Cricket and Cingular.

The most popular plans these days are shared plans or family plans. Family plans are useful to the small business because each employee can have a cell phone and the company receives just one invoice. This is a good way of keeping track of communication expenses. This applies to a small business but one invoice is a good way to monitor family budgets as well.

Prepaid Cell Phones?Diamonds & Dust

Diamonds
* Prepaid minutes can be less expensive than contract minutes.
* No Credit checks, no hassles!
* No monthly bill, you've paid upfront.
* No service fees.

Dust
* Extras costs more, long distance and roaming fees can be very expensive.
* Not all services are included, you may not be able to surf the web.
* Your phone only works in analog areas (quite common in more remote areas).
* Prepaid minutes can be more expensive on a minute by minute basis. Read the fine print.

Contracts ? Bundles Of Bargains

The most attractive feature about cell phone contracts is the bundle concept. There are numerous cell phone plans to make it easy for you to adhere to a contract and get a bundle of great deals. You can get special "add ons" like three way calling and call display. You can purchase a relatively nice cell phone at a reasonable price. As mentioned above contracts are not the iron clad document they used to be. If need be you can get released from them and you do get nicer phones!

Companies You Can Count On

Tried & True
There are so many cell phone companies and service providers these days, who can you, count on? For the best hardware (the phone) and the best software (airtime and air quality), you could choose cell phone companies that have been in the communication business for a long time. Verizon is one of these companies. They have a long standing tradition of superior customer service and product dependability. AT&T is also a long established communications company with impeccable standards.

Up & Coming
There are also some new cell phone companies and service providers who are making a good name for themselves because of the attention to quality as well. Check out new companies such as Nextel (a proud sponsor of NASCAR), T-Mobile, Cingular and Cricket.

There are reviews you can read about the latest and newest technology about all of the above companies so go to each company's websites and check out how their phones rate against each other.

What's Your Style?

Truly today, it is all about you and your unique lifestyle. This is the most important decision making factor of all. You know what you need in a cell phone plan. The key is finding the best one that will serve your needs best. Don't be intimidated or overwhelmed by the number of choices out there. Just keep in mind; it's all about your unique communication needs. Read these two short scenarios. They will help to show you what could be right for you.

Your job takes you all over the world. Your friends have a hard time keeping track of you because you are always on the move. You pay your bills on the internet and phone your family periodically just to let them know you're "OK".

OR

You're still in school and living at home. Your parents want you to keep in touch but you're sick of pay phones. Borrowing your friend's cell phone is getting old but you still need to check in.

The first scenario indicates that a prepaid cell phone would suit your lifestyle well. Make sure you prepay your minutes and avoid those pricey extra airtime costs. Use an international company such as AT&T so that you receive global coverage.

The second scenario indicates that your family needs a shared plan like the family plans currently available. Surf the web and research companies like Verizon and AT&T.

The Bottom Line ? Choices Do Abound!

So there you have it, the future is flexible and choices do abound. I hope you have found this article helpful as you make that choice between a prepaid cell phone and a cell phone contract. Keep in touch!

Finding the Right Bad Credit Loan UK

If you live in the United Kingdom and find yourself in need of money but lacking in credit, you might want to consider applying for a bad credit loan UK. These loans often are offered in a variety of different ways, from secured loans to unsecured loans, and may be used to cover a variety of expenses. You may have to do a little bit of searching before you find a lender who's willing to offer you a bad credit loan UK, but with this extra work comes the payoff of both getting the money that you need and working to repair your damaged credit rating.

Secured, Unsecured? what does it all mean?

When searching for a bad credit loan UK , you might find different terms coming up quite often. Secured loans, unsecured loans, personal loans? it can all seem quite confusing if you don't know what these terms stand for. Below are some definitions that will come in handy when looking for a bad credit loan UK .

Personal loans

All that the term personal loan means is that you, as an individual, are taking out the loan (as opposed to a business loan or loan for another legal entity.) The bad credit loan UK is going to be in your name, and will be used for the purposes that you describe in your loan application.

Secured loans

A secured loan is one in which the finance company or lender requires some form of security deposit in the form of collateral. Collateral is some piece of property (often an automobile or real estate) that is offered to prove to the lender that you intend to repay the bad credit loan UK . Should you default on the loan, the lender is legally entitled to take possession of the collateral item and sell it to cover the cost of the loan.

Unsecured loans

An unsecured loan is one that does not require any form of collateral? and is therefore not as likely to be offered when searching for a bad credit loan UK . Instead of offering up collateral, you'll be required to pay a higher interest rate for an unsecured loan; while you'll be paying more, you won't have to worry about losing your house or automobile should you not be able to repay the loan.

Finding a bad credit loan UK

To find the bad credit loan UK that's right for you, you might have to do a little bit of shopping around. Check with local finance companies and other lenders to see what sorts of loans they offer, and look for ads in the tabloids and other papers. You might also check the internet for bad credit loan UK offers.

After finding the best loan offer for your situation, try to control the amount that you borrow? only get what you absolutely need, instead of the most that you can. After all, you're going to have to pay it back and don't want to get in over your head.

What Company Does Your Business Keep?

A man is known by the company he keeps. We have heard that phrase so many times. Our folks have cautioned us often with that in our silly childhood. Do we heed to that advice in our business? Where do you hang out? What is your business surrounded by?

Have you heard about Christian Huygens?

This genius of early 17th century did something awesome. He discovered a law of resonance. A law which was well accepted in physics later and now is being applied to brain science.

Huygens kept few pendulum clocks on the wall of his room with each clock swinging independently. He discovered that after few cycles of independent cycling all the clocks started swinging precisely synchronized rhythm.

And he gave the world a law that seems inherent law of the nature.

He summarized that waves from clocks produced vibrations in the wall which in response produced waves that synchronized the rhythm of all clocks.

Scientists have now extended that law to working of brain waves and results are very -very promising.

Have you ever wondered that successful peoples are surrounded by similar ones? Is it a coincidence that when like minded people are at work the success is more likely!

Let us use this phenomenon to bring success to bring success to your business. It may be a home based business, online business or for that matter any venture.

To succeed in your business - Avoid Naysayers - Surround yourself with who have done or believe this can be done.

This is a much overlooked aspect of business. Your company definitely determines the outcome of your business dream.

Naysayers send you negative vibrations like ???This can???t be done???, ???You can???t do this???, ???Oh! It is impossible!???

Your mind reacts to them like walls did to the clock and produces similar waves. Before you realize you already have lost faith in your dream. Naysayers will rotten your business. Keep as much away as possible. Realize your own vibrations and vibrate with belief.

Hang out with the other type, the positive ones. Believe in your business and converse with similar minds. You will be amazed with the difference it makes.

Your mind is the workshop of your success. Every business is first borne in the mind before the mind takes action to shape its vision.

Your mind is the powerhouse of ideas which will make your business a success.

Your mind is the source of your strength that enables you to carry the burden in difficult times.

Feed your mind the good food. Avoid stuffing in the junk food.

When you fall it is important to know and believe that many others have fallen and rose again. That is the attitude which will determine success. One must develop that attitude.

If you hang around with naysayers you will drown further because your own mind refuses to provide the necessary strength.

Success might be on the next turn waiting for you.

If you are negative in your approach you are sure to stop before that turn arrives.

So set your clocks again. It is time to vibrate with right frequency.

I was watching a TV Show with Bill Dance and he was talking about concentration. I thought well this is going to be a boring show but of course, it wasn't. Matter of fact it made sense. Bill says Concentration not only makes you a better fishermen but also helps you forget your daily woes.

Learn something from every cast.
When you get a strike.....analyze it.
What was the cover?
What was the lure speed?
What retrieve did you use?
What was the water temperature?
What was the depth of the strike?
What was the oxygen level?
What was the lure color?
What type of lure?
What position was the boat to the cover?v Was the strike a slight bump or hard jerk?

A light bump usually means inactive fish.

If bass strikes shallow.........usually active
If bass strikes mid-depth.......usually semi-active
If bass strikes in deep water...usually inactive.

So, how does this help you? Well, if you can imitate the last conditions where you caught a fish, chances are you will catch even more without spending hours searching all over the lake.

Charles E. White has fished for almost 50 years for bass from California to Florida. In his lifetime, it is estimated that he has caught over 6,000 bass. His biggest bass is a 12 pound 14 ounce that hangs on his wall in his office.

Charles has fished with people who have never fished for bass before and taught them how to become successful anglers and also has fished with the Pros in Florida. His website about fishing for bass is at: http://www.bassfishingweekly.com

What You Need to Know About Credit Reports

You hear people talk about credit reports all the time but do you know what they are really all about? Well, if you have ever been turned down when applying for a credit card or a loan it is high time you learned all about your credit report and how you can get it working for you instead of against you.

Let's start off by explaining what your credit report actually is. Your credit report is a public record of all of the transactions concerning any money you may gave borrowed in the past. Any payments that you make on time or late, will show up on this report as well. Any tax liens or bankruptcies are on there as well. Your credit report even notes each time your report has been requested by someone or some company.

The reason that this report is so important is that this is how most lenders make their decision about whether you are a good credit risk or not. If you have a history of not paying your debts, they are obviously not going to want to give you any money because they know they will have a hard time getting it back from you. If you have poor credit you will find it difficult to get any credit cards or loans, even employers and landlords are accessing credit reports these days.

Everyone should request a copy of his or her report at least once a year. This is a simple task, all you need to do is contact one of the three major credit reporting agencies and ask them for a copy. This will not cost you anything but the copying expense and the stamp. You can contact these agencies online at:

Experian (located at www.experian.com)

Trans Union (located at www.transunion.com)

Equifax (located at www.equifax.com)

It is a good idea to get a report from all three of these agencies because they are not always the same. Once you get your report you will want to check it over for any errors or discrepancies. If you find any be sure to contact your creditors right away so that they can fix the problem.

According to the law you are entitles to receive one free copy of your credit report each and every year sot here is a chance that you will have to pay for the other two. But there is a chance that you will be eligible to get free reports if you meet certain criteria.

This criteria is as follows:

You have been the victim of identity theft

You are on welfare

You are unemployed

You have been denied credit recently

If your credit report is not a good-looking one at all there are some things that you can do to fix it up. First off, as I mentioned before if you see any errors report them right away, but if the black marks you see are all legitimate claims you will have to do some serious repair work. You cannot fix your credit overnight, no matter what anyone tells you, it is going to take some time and some effort.

If you just cannot seem to get things together enough to start making all of your payments on time each month you can contact a credit counseling service. They can help you to manage your debt successfully.

Having good credit is very important and the truth of the matter is that it is only going to get more important. Now is as good a time as any to get things under control don't you think?
